We went to Virginia for the weekend. Looking forward to the outdoors, pool and specially the grilling and bbq....something I don't get to do too often.
May has great produce in season and above all one of my favorite from the East Coast is Granseola, soft shell crabs.
This year Soft Shell Crabs are everywhere, hence cheaper yet delicious.
There are many different ways of preparing and cooking granseola, my favorite is the Italian way:
old fashion skillet on the grill seasoned with salt and pepper, and a dust of flour right before going into the hot pan, 2 minutes each side basting frequently. Add some grilled vegetables and you are ready to go...
